My baby was prematurely delivered @ 8 months in Ace medical center in Malanday, Valenzuela City on febuary 16,2019. He suffered from having difficulty in breathing, getting bluish straight away, his breathing has an abnormal noise, oxygen reading in the monitor was alarming right after his birth. The doctors put an oxygen apparatus called CPAP on him to help him breathe. He had lab tests done. They started him on antibiotics prophylactically to combat any infection that he might have gotten from the delivery. But despite of those early measures, he is still struggling on his breathing, hence the doctors decided to intubate my son & transferred him over to NICU. He was referred to Cardiologist & the doctor started him on cardiac medicine. They did 2D Echo on my son & it revealed TGA which means Transposition of Greater Arteries. His arteries in his heart are not properly connected to where it should be that is why his blood that carries the oxygen is not circulated all over his body therefore he lacks oxygen which resulted him to being a blue baby. He needs heart surgery for this but not urgently as he needs to grow more & meet the criteria he needs to for a good success of the surgey. Apart from those problems, he is also being treated for his pneumonia His blood sugar is getting low so it needs to be corrected as well. He needs to be transferred to either Phil General Hospital or Phil. Heart Centre as soon as his health gets better.first treatment is he will undergo for a balloon procedure and it will cost around $2,000 or 100k (phil pesos),next treatment is an open heart surgery which they will perform switch procedure of 2 main arteries.the cost of the procedure is from $8,000 to $10,000 or400k to 500k (phil peso)
I'm here knocking on your hearts to please help my son survive in this difficult time of his life. The hospital bill is already on the roof & I'm having hard time to meet the said amount. At day 6, our running bill is already at $3,700 or 192K (phil pesos). We are already doing cash basis for his meds as our account was on hold due to hospital credit limit.

A simple gesture of kindness and care, creates an endless ripple.
That comes back to you
