Help Send Jonna to Harvard

Good day!

I’m Jonna Jacinto, recently, the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations, a non-government organization based in Harvard University released the result of their incoming HPAIR Harvard Conference, and I am fortunate to be selected as one of the 300 delegates who are invited to attend the said conference. I got accepted under the Humanitarian Affairs track, to be held on February 16-19, 2018 at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As Harvard’s largest annual event in Asia, HPAIR brings together delegates from around the world to discuss important issues in the Asia-Pacific.

As part of the development sector, I truly believe that this event will be a great opportunity to me to explore more about my discipline and gain new knowledge from a foreign perception. This will be a great training to me to share the skills what I already have and to show how great Filipinos are. This will also give me knowledge about the different practices and actions other countries are doing in their nation when it comes to Humanitarian affairs and Development which I know that will be able to share in our country when the conference ends and when I get back in the Philippines.

Coming from a middle-class family, despite me belonging to the working class, I am also supporting my family in our household expenses; thus it is a challenge for me to raise funds to participate in the HPAIR conference. The registration fee alone is $400 (P20000), airfare (approximately P50000),and living allowance.

In line with that, I would like to seek for your help in making this dream and goal come to life. Please help me send to Harvard on February 2018. I would be very grateful and appreciate donations of any amount and other forms such as sharing to like-mind organizations and people who could provide support.
