Help Jimboy Recover

Hi. My name is Mercury Joy Boquila Andag and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my cousin Jerald Boquila Campo.

My cousin Jerald is just like any Filipino family breadwinner, he wanted to work to give his family a chance to have a better life. His originally from Davao City, Philippines but in order to find better opportunity, he went to Manila and tried his luck there. He graduated as a seafarer but in order to sign a contract in a certain company, he was asked to wait. While waiting, he worked as a security guard in a private company still in Manila to sustain his needs and send some money too to his family in Davao. Last year, while he was patrolling the area, he accidentally slipped on a metal stair and sustained an injury in his head. Due to lack of money, he did not go to the hospital and just carried on his job even if he was already feeling that there is something wrong with his head. A few weeks after, when the pain he was feeling in his head was getting worse to the point that it affected his ability to walk, he went to have a check up but he was told that they didn't find anything serious. He continued working until he finally got the call that he was waiting for. The company informed him that his contract was approved and he is going to Korea. This gave him so much excitement and hope, to finally have that beginning of a new life he was dreaming for him and his family. Unfortunately, his condition suddenly got worse a day before his departure. His sight became so blurry all of a sudden and he can't walk straight. He stumbled a lot when he tried to walk. This made him not qualified to go through the work contract and was forced to go home in Davao.

When he was home in Davao he went for a second opinion in San Pedro Hospital of Davao City and was advised to have an MRI scan. It was found out that he have a lump in his head and needs immediate surgery. Otherwise, it could result to serious case of Hydrocephalus. They decided to go through it even knowing it was expensive hoping that all will go well.

We are knocking in your good hearts for help. My cousin Jerald needs your help. Even your change, any small amount will be a huge help to his medical expenses and payment for the loans that they had incurred. I am asking for your help so Jerald can stand on in his feet again and give him a chance to pursue his dream as a seafarer not just for him but for his family. Currently, both of his parents are unemployed and his brother is still at school. It is still in his heart to work and give them a better life but he needs help, and that is what I am asking you.
