Help Jetske deal with her PTSD

Dear people,

I'm Peter and I'm trying to raise money to help my child in care. SinceFebruary of this year my wife and I took in Jetske. A 19 year old girl suffering from PTSD. She has gone to a very rough childhood and is now awaiting therapy's. That takes quite a lot of time before that is starting and we have to bridge the waitingtime. Meanwhile she is mostly left to herself by her psychiatrist and psychologist. We try to help her as much as we can, but she has to deal with negative thoughts, feelings and dissociative behavior and every now and then has to battle against suicide feelings.

We are trying a lot of things to keep her positive and help her deal with every day. We gave her 2 little rabbits to take care of and I build a rabbithouse in our yard together with her to help her get through the days and give her a feeling she achieved something. Our15-month-olddaughter is also a big help in bringingsomejoytoJetske's life.

Soon after she started living with us she developed an interest in my Lego collection and started rebuilding a lot of my stuff. It really helps her to build stuff with lego. It helps her sensory organs to stay connected to the real world and it is really helping her to not show dissociative behavior. She is remaking models I collected over the years and together we are building a city. We decided to set up a YouTube channel to show what we are doing. In order to keep helping her with that I'm raising money to expand the Lego collection and keep her busy with that. In the future, once she is doing better after therapy we are looking for ways to help others who suffer from PTSD to help them with our Lego as well.
