Hi Everyone,
My name is Janella Gundran located here in Pampanga, Philippines and I have a 15-year old brother, Janssen Gundran, who suffered from Arteriovenous Malformation that caused stroke last 19th September, Thursday. He was just playing with our youngest sibling and cousin when he felt a sudden headache and dizziness. He, then, can not move his right arm and leg, and can't even speak. He is currently in the intensive care unit for observation.
What is AVM? Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) is a congenital disorder which abnormal tangle of blood vessels connecting arteries and veins, which disrupts normal blood flow and oxygen circulation.
He has been in the intensive care unit for 2 days now and our bill is at Php64,000. The discharge date is still unknown. Tomorrow, 23rd September, Monday - my brother needs to undergo several tests such as MRI which costs around Php25,000 plus Php10,000 fee for the ambulance, doctor's fee for the procedure, and other hospital charges. Also, not to mention the neuro doctor's fee and pediatrician's professional fee that would cost around Php60,000. We also anticipate the upcoming expenses after his discharge for therapy and rehabilitation.
With all of these, I am humbly reaching out to those who have good hearts and who have more than they need to help us with the growing expenses of my brother's medication. We are not asking for a huge amount of money. Instead, a small donation will really help us a great deal. Just a small amount from friends, family, and strangers can raise the fund we need to sustain my brother's medication up to his therapy and recovery.

Janjan's journey to recovery
Update posted by Janella Andrea Gundran at 03:24 amHi Everyone,Just wanted all of you to know that my brother got discharged from AUF Medical Center yesterday and his recovery is underway. As of now, Janjan can now stand and walk but needs assistance, his right hand is still paralyzed but he can now move his right shoulder. Also,. . . . .

Update posted by Janella Andrea Gundran at 02:36 amHi everyone, I just wanted all of you to know that Janssen's MRI result was released yesterday and as per the Doctor, he is not required to undergo any operation/surgery. My brother is now out of critical condition and in a stable state and has been transferred to a regular. . . . .
