Campaign Story
It is indeed a sad reality that people living with HIV/AIDS often face significant challenges, including stigma, when trying to make a living. Stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS can have a profound impact on the lives of individuals and communities affected by the disease.
Kibera, a large informal settlement in Nairobi, Kenya, is known for its high population density, inadequate healthcare facilities, and socio-economic challenges. In such environments, the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS can be particularly damaging. Stigmatization can lead to discrimination in various aspects of life, including employment, housing, and access to healthcare.
I have been holding meetings with women living with HIV/AIDS in kibera and all are complaining about the same issues and i decided to bring it up here to get help and put a smile on this families and also create awareness
