Help Gazan entrepreneur continue her project

My name is Suzan Attallah from Gaza - Palestine. I'm the founder & manager of Veranda startup. I need your help to continue working on my startup

My story with Veranda

Veranda Project is a small startup established in 2016 to provide roofing services, landscaping, interior design, decorative products, interior furniture, ornamental plants and cactuses.

I have set up a small office to showcase the products and services offered by the project. The office was rented out in a small building and we started to offer our services and products.

Over the past 3 years we have worked with all our energy, myself and the project team, to achieve the desired success. We have achieved many achievements:

• Designed and implemented several projects (over 30 projects) distributed between (Landscaping design – Rooftop garden design -Design of gardens - Interior design - Design and implementation of chalets).
• In 2016, the project received the Best Women's Project Award in the Startup Weekend Competition, organized by Gaza Sky Geeks.
• In 2016, the project got a project) Implementation of a children's garden in Deir El Balah in Gaza with Swiss design and financing, and implementation of the Nawa Association for Culture and Arts).
• In 2017, the project participated in the annual bazaar for women organized by the American Consulate in Jerusalem.
• In 2017, the project was selected as one of the 200 women's in the Middle East to qualify for the WeMENA200 competition from YouNoodle.
• In 2018, the project received award from Japanese government in digital competition for ICT projects by Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies – PITA, about the idea of new product (smart hydroponic).
• In 2018 the project received award scholarship to the IBA to female entrepreneurs from GirlsGoingGlobal competition by Dearin & Associates.

During the current year, due to the difficulties we faced in working on the project, despite the poor economic situation in the local market in the Gaza Strip, the deterioration of living conditions, and the lack of jobs and projects, we could not collect the annual rent of the office for next year!!!

If we cannot pay the rent this month for the coming year, we cannot continue our project, and we will have to leave the place and finish the work, because there is no other place where we can run our business.

We hope to help us pay the annual rent, to continue working on our small project, and to achieve our dreams, to reach the summit and continue work and progress, to reach the success we dream of since the beginning of our project.
