Help for spine surgery of my mother.

My mother, Ana, must be subjected to complicated surgery at the lumbar spinal column, which is severely distorted and represent a hazard to any physical shock, fall or tapping. They can be fatal and can result in total paralysis or worse. Must be replaced a few lumbar vertebra and spinal discs from the spine with artificial prosthetic devices and titanium rods that support the back and to protect it. The operation is complicated, very expensive and the rehabilitation period is quite long. This spine surgery also involves high costs of hospital stay, transportation, physiotherapy and post-operative treatments during rehabilitation.

My mother is unable to afford these costs, because her only income, after 40 years of work, is a monthly 806 RON, which means, about $ 200 in u.s. dollars. For our whole family, the cost of hospitalization are very high and we can't afford them.

After a long period of treatment against osteoporosis, about 10 years, bone density level of my mom is almost normal and is eligible for this operation, which we hope to do it at the Hospital of Orthopaedics "GELENK-KLINIK" in GUNDELFINGEN, Germany. Current back pains of her are unbearable, can move only a few meters, of course with the aid of crutches and cannot sit vertically for more than 3-4 minutes.

We hope that we can change this situation and to help her to no longer suffer at every step, to be able to walk, to walk on her legs, to live a normal life from now on.
