Jofel is undergoing Hemodialysis. His condition was discovered when his hemoglobin level was checked prior to donating blood. Supposed to be his 3rd time to donate. He was then advised by the Doctor who assisted in the Mobile Blood Donation Program to undergo more laboratory tests. His creatinine level and uric acid were very high. He was then referred to a Nephrologist and was treated for almost a year. Sadly, his creatinine level was found alarmingly high that the condition poses danger to his health. The Nephrologist then advised to have him undergo Hemodialysis. A lifetime procedure he needs to have regularly in order to survive, according to the doctor.
Jofel is a jack of all trades. He juggles working as a collector in a small business while selling snacks for their clients and friends. In his extra time he drives a tricycle just to augment his income no matter how small. He has a son who goes to a state college but has to stop because of the pandemic having no laptop and internet at home which are essential for online classes. He has a wife who takes care of him in the hospital and their rented humble abode.
