Arusha, Tanzania is a central hub and a main starting point of the world's most famous Safaris: Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Amidst this big city lies a disadvantaged Area and Community on the outskirts of Mt. Meru, Our Aim is to help these people living here, specifically women who have little to no income because of different unfortunate causes, most of them are single mothers to many children. We aim to help them by giving them skills to help them create a business of their own allowing them to provide for their families and give them a brighter future!
Our focus now has been in raising funds to Kickstart our latest program:
EMPOWERING WOMEN AND TEACHING THEM SEWING SKILLS
by giving over 100 women the chance to learn sewing skills we'll help them get a chance to open up their own tailoring shops to make amazing clothes for all the people in the area!
All funds received will be directly used for these purposes:
- Renting of an establishment to carry out the class
- Renovation of said establishment in order to provide a safe and sanitary place for the women
- Sewing Machines
- Chairs and Tables
- A Professional teacher for the duration of the course
- Transportation to and from the establishment
any donation given no matter the amount is of great help to reach and make this important cause a reality!
