Help Ditas with her surgery

Update posted by Mappet Catilo Walker On Aug 26, 2019

Dear Family & Friends,

Updates from Ditas’s family.

  • Her CScan and EEG results are out.
  • The injuries from her fall are superficial only, meaning she had a heart attack and then fell.
  • But as her heart would not restart until after so many minutes of revival efforts, she is now comatose, no reaction to pain or stimulus.
  • Her heart is also very weak now. Her brain shows very slow waves, so though she is comatose, she is not brain dead. We have been asked to wait seven days, wherein she will be given medication to try to increase brain activity.
  • When asked on the chance of recovery assuming brain activity increases, the doctors do not want to give false hopes.

Her family asks that we continue storming the heavens in prayer for a miracle recovery.

Father, you inspired St. Marie Eugénie of Jesus to consecrate her whole life to you for the extension of Your Kingdom. Glorify the power of your love in her and grant us the grace we ask of you through her intercession: Complete healing of Mercedes Anselma G. Gonzalez🙏🏻Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Her medical bills is now at P500k. Your continued support through the following channels are much appreciated:

Or, through,

  • Bank name: Banco de Oro
  • Branch name: Julia Vargas
  • Savings Account: 002 110329 161
  • Account name: Zenaida G Gonzalez

Many, many thanks for all your prayers, financial assistance and support to spread the news. We keep storming the heavens in prayer for a miracle recovery. We remain forever grateful for all your generosity. We wish you continued health, happiness, blessings and a wonderful weekend ahead.

Prayerfully yours, Mappet

Dear Family & Friends,

This afternoon, at around lunch time, Ditas had a cardiac arrest. It took 30 mins to revive her and get her heart beating again. Her eyes would involuntary jerk every now and then but she has since been given medicines to reduce the jerking. She is now still unconscious in the ICU. Her sister-in-law, Aylene learned that her head hit the floor from an apparent cardiac arrest. It is not clear what caused what.

Her family thanks all of you for storming the heavens in prayer for a miracle for her. She is at 5th floor of the Cardinal Santos Medical Center. The previous post that she was at The Medical City was an error on my part.

Thank you for your continued donations, pledges and posts on your social network. Please send your assistance via https://www.paypal.me/mercedesanselma.

Wishing you all a blessed, safe, peaceful, and a wonderful weekend ahead. May your generosity be rewarded a thousand-fold. May the weekend bring miracles for Ditas.

Gratefully yours,

Mappet

Dear Family & Friends,

Ditas's surgery was successful last Saturday. Although, dialysis was required pre- and post- surgery to address the water retention, no blood transfusion was required. Goodbye myoma, goodbye bleeding.

Thank you for all your prayers. Ditas is on her way to healing and recovery.

We continue to be grateful for your assistance to raise the last P80k to cover her outstanding medical bills until she is discharged. She has paid The Medical City P125k. With PWD (Person With Disability) card, she was given a P50k discount. She spent P50k for other expenses like medicine, transportation. All the professional fees were waived. She just now needs to settle her hospital bill for discharge on Friday. Appreciate your generous assistance by clicking this link https://www.paypal.me/mercedesanselma. The PayPal account linked to the Donate button on this campaign is currently restricted. Please use the PayPal account above.

Thank you for continuing to spread the news to Ditas’s family, friends, classmates, colleagues and social network to rally with us and help her through this final stage of her recovery.

Wishing you all a blessed, safe, peaceful, and a wonderful week ahead. May your generosity be rewarded a thousand-fold.

Gratefully yours,

Mappet

Dear Family & Friends,

This week, we have reached 60% of our targeted P250k. Thank you for all your prayers, donations, pledges and posts on your social network.

Keep the prayers coming. To be physically, emotionally and spiritually ready to go through this surgery, she postponed her surgery to the 18th of August. She needs our prayers, for healing and for courage.

Continue to spread the news. We want all of Ditas’s family, friends, classmates, colleagues and social network to rally for her and help her with this surgery.

Wishing you all a blessed, safe, peaceful, and wonderful week ahead. May your generosity be rewarded a thousand-fold.

Dear Family & Friends,

Thank you to all our kind donors who have deposited in MetroBank and BDO, clicked the link to Donate via PayPal or made their pledges. We are 7 days to the August 15 surgery date, and 24 days to the end of this campaign.

Keep the prayers coming. Ditas needs to be emotionally and physically ready to go through this surgery. Being a doctor and a surgeon makes it harder for her to go through this procedure. You can imagine a conversation between patient and doctor, only the conversation is within Ditas. She needs our prayers, for healing and for courage.

Keep the donations and the pledges flowing. We will make the initial deposit of P50k to The Medical City to schedule the surgery on the 15th of August. She is cleared with her nephrologist. Tomorrow, she sees her cardiologists and undergoes some tests.

Continue to spread the news. We all need to rally and help her with this surgery.

For those in the PH, please stay safe and stay dry. Wishing you all a blessed, calm, peaceful, and a terrific Tuesday. May your generosity be rewarded a thousand fold.

Gratefully yours,

Mappet

Dear Family & Friends,

Thank you to our 2 backers who deposited P15k in Metrobank. Ditas will use these for her lab test, anaesthesiologist and cardiologist evaluation on Friday. Together we have raised P24k out of the needed P250k. We are P226k away from the goal. As soon as we reach P50k, Ditas will make a deposit to schedule her operation.

Ditas aims to have her surgery at the Cardinal Santos Hospital on the 15th of August, Feast of the Assumption.

We need to prepare for blood bank pooling in case Ditas needs blood transfusion. It is P5k per bag including processing. One donor is P1k, so 3 donors plus P2k is one bag of blood. If you are able to donate blood, send me a private message on this page. I will include you on the reserve list of donors.

Keep the prayers coming, donations flowing and support to spread the news. Together we can make the surgery happen for Ditas. We want her practicing medicine and caring for her mom.

Gratefully yours,

Mappet
