Let me tell you about my Entrepreneur's life and my SOS call

It started a couple of years ago in 2015 when I got expatriated and started together with my wife a consulting venture in a country of the Middle East, that focuses on business support advisory, assisting SMEs to succeed their transformation and cope with the changes brought to the market by the digital wave and smart tools.

The opportunity in the market is very big, the services and solutions are ready, but the market players where we operate are either stuck with the old traditional style, or already started their transformation with big names, who don't accept to have us in outsourcing due to our small size. we barely had a couple of small contracts that do not cover the company expenses.

You know that Business development and pre-sales efforts are not paid services, and the toughness of the market made these even more costly since it involves travel and participation to paid events and conventions for networking and access to contacts and thus opportunities.

For 2 years, we signed partnerships with global partners and started giving away trial services, training sessions and consultations to various prospects, which took us time, costs & efforts, to finally end up with a No Go at most times.

Now, we made a name in the market during the first couple of years, and we got positioned and visible as a transformation business support consulting venture, we ended up not being able to cover even our own expenses and salaries, and forced to shut the promising business in the next quarters due to lack of funds & projects. The risk is also big since the employment market is very tough these days, and that both myself and my wife were applying for positions over the last year with no response that is matching our profiles.

Our last chance is to rely on the global community to save our business and our family of 4 (with 2 kids in school, 3 and 6 year old) cover the coming salaries, bills of school fees, office rental and utilities, transport and communications, health insurance and office costs, and help us pick up again for a flourishing year 2018, thanks to the good hearts that read our SOS message, and would like to encourage and support innovative entrepreneurs.
