My name is David and I come from a small rural town in Northland New Zealand. Earlier this year I was in the process of joining the New Zealand army but unfortunately, I was medically declined. I was devastated that I didn't get into the army for many months which affected my future career tremendously. Eventually, I got over it and now I am in the process of applying for my diploma in commercial skydiving.

The New Zealand Skydiving School is the only organization to offer the DIPLOMA IN COMMERCIAL SKYDIVING, NZQA approved skydiving qualification, providing me with the perfect opportunity to gain access to an exciting career with international prospects. This course boasts a 95% employment rate upon completion.

The 32 week full-time Diploma in Commercial Skydiving includes 200 skydives, teaches the latest skydiving techniques, and covers a vast range of subjects in the industry. The course is divided into 5 modules, which include a 12 week organised work placement within a commercial drop zone, here in New Zealand or overseas.

I need your help to fundraise money to buy the required course equipment.

  • $4390 NZD parachute system
  • $6000 NZD Harness container and reserve
  • $700 Vertex Suit
  • $570 NZD Cookie G3 Helmet
  • $1849 NZD Virgil Automatic activation device
  • $280 NZD Altitude meter
  • $315 NZD Audio-able Altitude meter

The total amount I need is $16025 NZD
