Campaign Story
Dear Friends, Fans, and Family,
As many of you know, my life has been a symphony of notes, chords, and rhythms, each played with passion and dedication. My journey through music, with Clouds has been nothing short of a beautiful melody. However, life, in its unpredictable nature, has recently presented a challenging new rhythm.
Not long ago, I experienced a stroke that altered the course of my life’s symphony. The aftermath has left me with limited movement on my left side, including my leg and arm, blurred vision in one eye, and a numbed left side of my mouth. This unexpected turn has not only impacted my ability to create music but also my ability to support my beloved family – my greatest fans and the melody of my heart.
The lead-up to the stroke was as harrowing as the event itself. I experienced constant headaches, nausea, vertigo, panic attacks, tremors, double vision, and limb coordination problems. These symptoms not only affected my health but also my capacity to create and contribute to the music we all cherish. One significant impact was on our 10-year anniversary boxset. This project, which was in its final stages and a testament to our decade-long journey, had to be put on hold. As the sole person responsible for our limited editions and special releases, my health challenges have inadvertently paused a milestone celebration for us all.
In an immediate response to this crisis, I’ve taken steps to alleviate our financial strain. That was putting up for sale some of my assets, including my car, various musical instruments, and other equipment - some of which were used to create the merchandise many of you cherish. While these actions have provided some relief, the journey ahead remains daunting.
Today, I find myself in a position I never imagined: reaching out for a helping hand. While my spirit remains strong, the reality of mounting bills and the necessities of life are a tune I cannot face alone. This is not just a call for financial support; it’s a request to join me in this new chapter, to help me sustain the rhythm of life for my family and me.
In addition to the immediate challenges, there are more tests required to ensure I am out of harm’s way. These include a circulatory test to check for any blockages in my arteries and many other tests crucial for my recovery. Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover these expenses, adding another layer of financial burden.
Your support, whether small or large, will be a note of hope in our lives. It will help cover medical expenses, including these essential tests, day-to-day living costs, and provide a foundation as I navigate this new rhythm.
In this moment of vulnerability, I am reminded of the power of community, the strength of shared melodies, and the harmony that comes when we unite. Your support is not just a donation; it’s a hand in keeping the music of life playing, even when the notes change unexpectedly.
From the depths of my heart, thank you for considering being a part of my journey. Your support means the world to me and my family. Together, with your help, I hope to resume the projects and passions that have brought us all together over the years.
With love and music,
Daniel
