Campaign Story
Let's change the life of at least one child
So I've been convinced to enter the Spartan Race on on 19th May and figured that as I'm going to put myself through something so tortuous, I might as well do it for a worthy cause. One of the parents of a child I teach (actress, supermodel and host of Asia's next top model, Cindy Bishop) is an ambassador for Operation Smile Thailand and after seeing the work her and her daughter do for them, I felt inspired to do something as well.
Not only is this race brutal, but I'll be doing it at around midday during the hot season. Training has already started with the incredible Coach Nil at "Box Hiit by Ase Wang", Habito Mall and I'm doing a 10km run once a week. Check out the Spartan Race website here for an idea of what I'll be putting myself through: http://www.spartanrace.co.th/en/about/our-story/th...
For those who don't know, Operation Smile Thailand provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children throughout the country. Each surgery costs 25,000 baht (approximately £500) and if we can raise this amount, it would forever change the life of that child.
