Help Bring to Life Our Family-Pension House Dream

We are a young married couple at the start of our life together and we are looking for your kindness and help...Unfortunately, due to ever increasing construction materials- and labor-associated costs we have hit a deadlock and are unable to find a solution or path to successfully finance the ongoing construction alone and complete our project.

The project consists of an amenity building (garage, storage, and technical & main heating room) and the main house building (eco-friendly and energy-efficient A+), which will in part host us, and hopefully a baby in the near future; the other part of the house is a pension “project” which we envision it to be a retreat place for people visiting this beautiful area. Staying at our pension house, guests can escape the busy city-life and reconnect with nature and themselves.

Our journey began about 4 years ago when we decided to use our savings, and income into bringing to life this dream of living together as a happy family, while helping others reconnect with nature. We hope our family-pension house will provide guests with a quiet and healthy retreat place. One could visit the wonderful and remote surroundings. The area where we are building the house is close to the mountains with beautiful views, historical and natural monuments, monasteries (one of which is part of the UNESCO world heritage), and remote monk sanctums.
Local activities such as pottery art creation, pottery museums and fairs (also part of the UNESCO world heritage), traditional farming, fishing, as well as hiking trips to mountain paths, among some connecting to remote monk sanctums, or motorized quad travels through the nearby forest paths to find wild mushrooms and mountain berries, or even truffles or just to enjoy the view, are all to help one disconnect from the noise of modern life and allow them to connect with nature and traditions.

During the past 4 years we have used ALL our savings and monthly income into trying to bring this wonderful project to life. We managed to start 3 years ago – in 2019 – from getting all the permits necessary for the project, to land preparation and project implementation. Due to excessive (from 30% up-to +250%) price increases in both construction materials and associated-labor costs in the past 2 years, we’ve hit a deadlock due to cost estimates being excessively overreached, and so we are unable to successfully finance our project and finish it before the construction and implementation permits expire in May 2023.

To date, we’ve used all our family savings, that so far helped us getting halfway through with the project – from a construction and implementation perspective: we have managed to fully fence the property, plant over 400 thuja trees (July, 2019 – from 12 cm all growing healthy to over 1.7 m high), execute land preparations for construction (property access road/entry, excavations, post-excavation structure wall, water and sewerage works, under-terrain drainages, electrical power and internet connection), and the construction of the two building foundations and their resistance structure, power and heating channels, as well as walls and concrete works for the amenities building.

The next stages, will consist of:

• House building (stand-alone): Raising of walls using the already purchased YTONG A+ construction blocks (auto-claved cellular concrete – A+ energy efficient - optimal for the area the house is built) and concrete/structural works to prepare for roofing.

• House and Amenities buildings:
  • Roofing and water-insulating.
  • Windows and doors (outer)
  • Floor heating systems (help reduce energy consumption)
  • Flooring (technical for amenities building)
  • Electrical and lighting systems (30% based on solar power)
  • Inside/outside finishing (water/heating insulation)
  • Furnishing

Our monthly income as family does not provide for a realistic roadmap which can help us finish the project in time and not raise more obstacles, such as new permits required past May 2023, or that can cover for the ever-increasing prices to all construction-related materials and services.

Therefore, with our future guests in mind, we thought of You–a great community which could help us bring this project to life; for our family and You, as in anyone trying to escape a busy-life and reconnect with nature and themselves.

In this, we are giving it a try for a fundraising campaign which we see more like as a “loan” – we'll detail below how we envision this mutual help that can provide for a beautiful project being successfully implemented, and which can bring joy & hope to us as a family, and to many other people in our country and around the World.

As a reward to your cherished donation, aside from our deepest appreciation and love, we thought of a plan to either fully reimburse your much appreciated help (and more - please see below), or provide OUR knowledge and experience in the IT/Web field as a service to YOU, and help you bring YOUR projects to life, or help move forward or advance YOUR current projects.

We have vast experience in Web design and development of landing pages and complete websites, as well as in Email concept and marketing (design, development and implementation within various ESP's). We offer our skills and experience to provide as a reward to your donation. Please see the details on our Rewards plan below.

REWARDS, PLEASE READ

Should you choose a reward: see your donation help bring to life an honest, well-intended family and guests project, to both help promote human nature and wellbeing as well as local traditions, and more than that see it provide for more in helping others in need, or yourself – all to the account of time*:

1. Our first approach to rewards is to fully reimburse your honest and much appreciated donation, PLUS an extra, all to the account of time*. What does it mean?
   
   For example:
   If you donate $250 dollars to our campaign, upon request, we pledge to refund the donation to you from our monthly income, PLUS we will be donating an extra up-to 20% to a different campaign that either you’d like to see come to fruition or have us choose one for you to donate to (visible, under our name)*
   
   We list below our openness and pledge to reimburse and provide an additional percentage of your donation, upon request, to help the cause of other people in need*
   • $250 USD – we’ll reimburse you in full* + 20% ($50 USD) for another campaign
   • $500 USD – we’ll reimburse you in full* + 10% ($50 USD) for another campaign
   • $1,000 USD – we’ll reimburse you in full* + 5% ($50 USD) for another campaign
   • $5,000 USD – we’ll reimburse you in full* + 5% ($250 USD) for another campaign
   • $10,000 USD – we’ll reimburse you in full* + 5% ($500 USD) for another campaign (of your choosing only) **

   We will fulfil any donations under this Rewards category (1.), starting June 1, 2022 (after the campaign has ended) based on the first-donated - first-reimbursed basis. 2. Our second approach to rewards is to provide a service to you based on our 15+ years in the IT field having vast experience with: Web design and development (designing and coding modern/sleek webpages, landing pages, survey pages, etc.), Email design, development and implementation (designing and coding modern/responsive promotional or newsletter emails, and implementing them/send via Salesforce – Exact Target, Pardot; or other ESP you might use).
   
   For example:
   If you donate $250 dollars to our campaign, upon request, we pledge to create (design and code) a modern and responsive Promotional Email (shorter than a Newsletter) for you, based on your current brand and standards. Once your project is fully approved by you (we offer up-to 3 rounds of changes), we’ll be providing all the source codes files for your project (graphics: .PSD/.EPS/.AI and code: HTML) to you via email or a via a file hosting service ( at your choosing).
   
   We list below our pledge to provide, upon request, an IT/Web-related service for your donation, as follows*
   • $250 USD – one Promotional Email (design/coding)
   • $500 USD – one Newsletter Email (or 2x Promotional Emails, based on the same brand)
