Hi, a 14-day-old baby girl in the diagnosis of Esophageal atresia (disconnect of the channel between the esophagus and stomach). Need your financial support.

the story of a 14-day-old Shalom baby diagnosed with Esophageal atresia, a condition in which the esophagus and stomach canal is severed causing Shalom's baby can not swallow anything by mouth.

Shalomita was born SC (Sectio Caesar) on December 6, 2017 with a premature condition (34 weeks). After the baby Shalom was born, an intensive examination by a pediatrician was performed. When done checking his throat using a tube inserted through the mouth, the hose is stuck in the Esophageal (Esophageal dead end). This condition is a critical condition, then from the first day of birth Shalom directly referred to the NICU in one private hospital in Lebak Bulus area to get special treatment.

Esophageal atresia itself is a congenital abnormality, which means it occurs before birth. Esophageal atresia is considered an emergency surgery. Surgery to repair the Esophageal should be done as soon as the baby is stabilized so that throat damage can not happen and the baby can be breastfed immediately. Before surgery, the baby can not be breastfed through the mouth. Treatment is given to prevent the baby from breathing his own secretion into the throat.

After meeting with the surgeon, there is an explanation that the case of Athyssophagus Atresia experienced by Shalom's baby is a case that can not be solved only with 1 stage of surgery. The first surgery to be performed is Esofagotomy (making of the ducts in the neck for saliva or saliva removal) & Gastrostomy (making catheter holes to the stomach as a temporary food channel). The second surgery is a surgical operation of the Esophageal and stomach, which will be done when Shalom infants aged 6-7 months in order for his body in a state more ready for this large operation.

It's been 14 days since Shalom's baby is in the NICU and still continues, and during the care of Shalom's baby is not covered by insurance. On this condition, without any respect, we Shalom's parents plead with humility and willingness of Mr / Mrs and brothers and sisters to be able to offer prayers and help ease our material burden so that Shalom can immediately perform maintenance and operations.
