Help Ayra Study in Makeup School

Hello friends,

I would be beyond grateful if you can help support my crowd funding to formally study makeup in the school that I have so long dreamed of. I really believe that I would grow so much if I would be given the chance to study, and I would be eternally grateful if you can help me in achieving my dreams.

I am Ayra Aleckzis Salvador, a 21-year old Filipina.

Ever since I was in college, I've always been interested in makeup. It was my hobby and passion that I always practiced whenever we had school events, photoshoots, etc. Upon graduation, I got an online job which does not require going to the office from 9 to 5, and ultimately gave me the opportunity to practice freelance makeup and build my makeup kit little by little.

All that I know about makeup is only self-learned from countless hours of practice and research. I am really passionate about it and there is not a single day that passes by that I don't watch makeup videos to learn tips on makeup.

It has long been my dream to formally attend a makeup school/enroll in a makeup course that would give me a certification and really help me learn from the most basic detail up to the most advanced makeup techniques. I feel like I lack a lot of skills and knowledge since I only watch from Youtube videos.

My dream is to study in a Korean makeup school because I feel like the Korean beauty style resonates so much with my makeup style. I am in love with how much they make every look fresh and natural, which is I believe, is the goal with makeup.

I have been saving up for a year now to enroll in my dream makeup school, the best in South Korea - JUNGSAEMMOOL art&academy, but recently they have increased their prices, and the amount is too much given how small my salary is. I have only saved 5% of the total amount for the 2-week course.

The fee costs USD 5,255.50 for the 2-week course for international students.

Why now?

- My little sister was selected as a delegate for a Youth Leaders Summit in Korea this July 2018. My parents want me to go and accompany her to this trip, and I thought maybe this time, I can hit two birds with one stone and enroll in a 2-week international course offered by JSM.

Many people have encouraged me to study makeup formally as they have seen my potential and how passionate I am about this. I have tried to search for scholarships that can fund my makeup course in Korea, however, I cannot find any that sponsors for makeup school. :(
