Campaign Story
I'm an Israeli tour guide financially devastated by the disappearance of tourism due to the global pandemic. I decided to hike the 1,100 km (683 miles) Israel National Trail (Shvil Yisrael) that traverses the country from Kibbutz Dan (near Mt. Hermon) in the north to Eilat in the south. This trail takes you through beautiful green valleys and hills, along the Mediterranean Sea, into the stark desert region, through modern and ancient towns, to Jerusalem, and near the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea. One sees diverse plants and animals, experiences diverse cultures, and experiences the rich bounty that Israel has to offer. Along the trail, I will be stopping at archaeological and historical sites, conducting interviews, taking side excursions to points-of-interesting, and doing what I love, guiding people through the land of Israel.
During this journey I will be posting updates and photos, and creating virtual tours to be shared on YouTube, Facebook, and other social media platforms, so you can digitally join me on this trek. If you are in Israel, you are welcome to join me for any part of the trail, and if you are abroad, I look forward to being your tour guide when tourism resumes. Donations will be used to buy initial equipment and supplies, costing around 7,500 NIS ($2,250), then my guided tours along the way will be funded by your continued donations.
Thank you for your support and coming along with me on this journey!
