Help Aleron Get to Europe

Hello, we are Aleron, an all male choir based in Quezon City, Philippines

This year, we will be embarking on our first-ever European tour: having been accepted to participate in major choral competitions in France, Germany, London and Wales. The two-month tour from May to July will also be filled with goodwill concerts around the continent, capped off by a feature performance at the 11th World Symposium on Choral Music in Barcelona, Spain, where we will be representing our country as the ambassador choir. Here we will be showcasing the rich tradition of Philippine choral music in the context of the very timely and universal theme of the Symposium: the colors of peace.

Representing the Philippines in these different competitions is a great honor and we are working hard in ensuring that we can give our best performance. However, no matter how hard we work, we won't be able to compete unless we have enough funds to get us to Europe. Being unable to compete this year means we will not be allowed to enter the competition in the future, even if we have the funds to bring us there. Please help us share our music to the world by donating to our tour fundraising endeavor.

Aleron is the first all-male choral ensemble in the Philippines to explore the full potential of the male vocal range - from the highest soprano down to the lowest bass - creating a unique sound that invites endless possibilities for choral music. We have collaborated with several renowned Filipino composers by advocating the creation of new choral works that reflect the vibrant trends of choral music in the Philippines combined with each composer's personal flair and voice. We began in 2006, and have consistently shown that we are one of Asia's most formidable all-male ensembles, bagging top prizes in major choral competitions in the Philippines, South Korea, and Japan.

In Aleron, we are a family with a diverse mix of singers from different backgrounds - such as law, medicine, business, theatre, education, real estate, and of course, music. This has been instrumental in the culture of excellence and passion that our group aims to uphold. Because of this, we strive to foster understanding and community-orientedness through our music.
