Help Adnan receive DBS surgery/treatment for Parkinson’s disease

Hi everyone, my name is Ali Annan, I created this fundraiser campaign to raise money for the full expenses for Parkinson's DBS (Deep Brain Stimulations) surgery for my father Adnan Annan who has been suffering with this illness for a decade.

Adnan Annan, 61 years old, born and raised in Beirut-Lebanon, father of 3 kids (two sons and a daughter) and a former school teacher.

My father was diagnosed with Parkinson in the year 2007 on a summer day when we were on the beach and he started limping and fell to the ground, that's when he noticed something is not right, the very next day the doctor diagnosed him with stage 3 Parkinson and ever since he got sick his overall health started declining and kept going downhill till the day of today, 3 years later after he was first diagnosed my father became jobless and has been staying home ever since due to the simple fact that he can't walk or talk properly (speech impairment) leaving us with my mother's average income, she also works in the educational field and will be retiring by the end of this year, and I work as a freelance photographer therefore our combined salaries are not enough to afford his monthly medications, we ended up selling our car and half of my photography gear so we can afford his meds, unfortunately the insurance companies do not cover any part of the DBS surgery meanwhile the social security covers about 10% of his medication and 0% of the surgery expenses hence this is why we decided to do a crowdfunding YOUCARING campaign as the last resort to save my father's life and to end his daily suffering with pain, insomnia and the unwanted side effects of both the disease and the meds.

This campaign is the last resort we only have one last chance to save my father's life before he reaches stage 4 of Parkinson's and becomes completely immobile. We have nowhere left to turn but to the generosity of others, we hoped for a different outcome but tried to be prepared for the inevitable! We can do this, we will fight to save Adnan's life and we thank each and every one of you for your support!
