Help Access Clean Water Uganda

Uganda is a landlocked country in the east of Africa Almost a quarter of people across Uganda do not have access to clean water and over 80% do not have adequate sanitation! Those who live in rural areas are most effected by the lack of clean water.

Using and drinking unsafe water is one of the leading causes of death and disease across Uganda with 4,500 children dying every year due to having no other option but to drink this unsafe water. It's not that there is no clean water in Uganda,Africa but it is so difficult to access this clean water..NWSC currently charges a unit (1,000 litres) of domestic water at Shs 1, 912. which could be so difficult for people in rural communities to afford it. many communities do not have access to tap water, borehole wells ... so in this situation it turns out that they do not have the opportunity to drink and use dirty safe and clean water in their homes and this is the reason main reason why children are suffering in Africa

African street kids dreams we have reached a drilling Company in Uganda and thire have agreed to collaborate with them and to work with us to combat this problem of dirty water in Uganda and in the rest of the African countries. In this case we will need more hand / support because it is rather expensive to dig a well ( borehole)

That's why we created this fundraising campaign for this matter and as soon as we have the funds ready, we will start to drilling the first borehole in western Uganda.

We have 2 options available

1: Hand-auger ( £ 3,000 )

2: Percussion ( £4,500)

For the start we dicided to take the first option of Hand-auger which is going to cost 13,500,000UGX (£3,000 ).
