Help a cancer stray cat operation and save his life

My name is KONT, actually this is the name people call me at the place where I am living in( a company’s car park area). I used to have a home but most probably my family kicked me out after some time . I thought and believed that they were my family but in fact I was only an animal for them after being thrown outside.

Anyway, this is not my story. I got used to stray life and eventually found a good place to survive. It was a nice and safe place where workers and I were good friends soon and had food 24 hours and hot place to sleep. Everything was perfect for me, until my brother ENGIN (thats the person, who has 12 cats at home, taking care of 40-50 stray cats and 6 dogsin his neighborhoods, about 10-15 stray cats including me around our office) was scratcing my neck. He suddenly stoped and started checking my neck and rest of my body carefully. I thought he was playing with me until he put me in an animal cage and took to the Vet. I went through an intensive check and after some tests, diognosis was “ lymphocytic lymphomas”. The biopsy report said, I had enlarged lymph nodes around my neck, underarms and legs, my belly. My brother was schocked when he heard the results of the biopsy. Anyway, I stayed at the clinic for one month or 5 weeks, having treatments including 2 times chemotherapy in order to stop the enlargement of the lymphomas spreading to rest of my body. In the meantime, had an appendicitis surgery 😊. I am fine at the moment with my appendicitis but worried about my lymphoma and I have to go to Vet once a week in order to have my treatment and prevent it from spreading the disease to my lungs. It is a terrible experience as it hurts and leaves pains plus my furs are dropping everyday. I am not giving up as I believe that I will recover and not thinking vice a versa. I have more life to live.

The only problem is that Engin isn’t letting me leave the car park as my immune system is very weak and I always catch cold as soon as I feel the cold weather.

Therefore, the car park area and the clinic are my living areas. This is my life and I hope I ll get well soon but have to carry out my medical treatment. Engin started a campaign in his work place and raised funds around $450 for my Vet bills but that is not much compared to the bills that are due now; it’s around $3000 until date and this is the lowest price as most of the Vets and Clinics in Istanbul are his good friends and he gets much lower bills compared to other people. Engin is earning well enough for himself and his family( cats at home and stray animals) however unexpected events and bills like mine are sometimes putting him down. At the moment, he owes around $8.000 to 3 Vets which he is paying some money every month. He is doing his best for all the stray animals as he is a reel animal lover.
