Campaign Story
Lots of girls in kenya and Africa at large miss school for atleast five days every month during their menstruation period due to lack of sanitary pads. This has been particularly rampart in less privileges areas in kenya like eastern kenya where i come from.
I experienced this when I was studying and it saddens me that many years down the line girls are still experiencing this
This campaign is an extension of a wider campaign in Kenya aimed at supporting girls from underprivileged regions in Kenya pursue their education by providing them with much needed necessities such as sanitary pads during that "time of the month" enable them to comfortably be in school even during that time of the month. This funds will go a long way in helping distribute sanitary pads to girls in over 4000 schools in Easterm parts of Kenya
