Introduction: Hello, my name is Joseph Waweru, and I'm on a mission to make a difference in the lives of Kenyan farmers. I believe that by providing them with certified potato seeds, we can empower them to increase their crop yields and improve their livelihoods. The Challenge: Kenyan farmers face numerous challenges when it comes to potato farming, and one of the most significant obstacles is the use of uncertified seeds. To address this issue, I have been tirelessly training farmers on the importance of using certified potato seeds during planting. However, training alone is not enough; they need access to these high-quality seeds.

My Mission: I am deeply committed to helping these farmers by not only providing them with the knowledge but also the resources they need to thrive. To do this, I am working towards registering my own seed production company with the Kenyan government. This registration will allow me to produce and distribute certified potato seeds to farmers in need.

The Financial Hurdle: Unfortunately, I have encountered financial challenges in the process of registering my company. The government registration fee is approximately 75,000 Kenyan Shillings. Additionally, to meet the growing demand for certified seeds, I need to lease more land for seed production. This expansion requires capital that I currently lack.
