Campaign Story
In 2016, a team of Malaysians brought the World Federation of United Nations Associations Youth Seminar to Kuala Lumpur. We brought together participants from all over the world and all over Malaysia too. Speakers were invited, experiences were shared and projects were developed. Throughout the event, participants and to a large extent even organisers were able to share knowledge and best practices for community initiatives thus building the capacity of young activists all over the world.
The event was a success, centered around Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace Justice and Strong Institutions. Today, our participants are working on projects and developing their initiatives centered around this goal as result of the event:

This year, we would like to send a team to the Youth Seminar 2017 in Kampala, Uganda to further develop our capacity as young Malaysians to positively impact our communities. This year, the seminar is focused on "Localizing the UNSC Resolution 2250". Resolution 2250 focuses the capacity of youth in peacebuilding initiatives and maintaining peace among communities:

Our team consists of 3 Malaysians, diverse in gender, ethnicity and religion. While we have received 50% of the funding needed to travel to Uganda we still need your help to travel, connect and develop initiatives for our community development initiatives. Every donation brings us one step closer to Kampala and gives us the tools and skills we need to make Malaysia a better place.
If you would like to donate directly you may do so via bank transfer to CIMB Account: 7619371433, alternatively you may contact [email protected] for further details.
