Treatment of Umbilical Hernia

Emmanuelle was diagnosed with umbilical hernia some few months after birth. The doctors told us that her bulging belly would return to normal gradually. Since then, she has been in and out of hospital many times. The problem is that she experiences intense pain right inside the umbilical cord and when this happens, she cries throughout.

Emmanuelle is now four years old and the last time we took her to the doctor was in April 28, 2016. The doctor advised us that the only way to help Emmanuelle is to undertake surgical repair of her abdominal muscles. He said the root cause of the problem was due to incarceration at the time of birth. We may not understand much of medical language but the only thing we long to see is have Emmanuelle healed. She is now booked to undergo surgery next month (June, 2016) pending availability of funds.
