Heart to heart: fundraising for the angioplasty and medical needs of James Serrano

Hello everybody,

I am Claire Tablante, the eldest niece of my uncle, James Serrano. He is the only one among his siblings who has no immediate family, thus we, his nieces and nephews, together with our parents, are the ones seeking help.

My uncle has been enduring diabetes and he has gone through amputation a few weeks ago due to infection. He has been healing since, however, due to further complications, he suffered a heart attack and affected his speech and motor skills. Yesterday night, he was rushed again to the hospital only to find put that he suffered a secondary heart attack. His needs are required to have angioplasty as soon as possible but we do not have enough finances to proceed with the treatment. At the moment, he is in the Intensive Care Unit and the hospital is already demanding 200 000 PHP for admittance.

We are raising funds up to 600 000 PHP until Christmas, foreseeing the costs and other expenses to be incurred especially for the angioplasty treatment. We are raising funds from unknown and known individuals so that we can help my uncle. My family and I are knocking at your door to help us save my uncle.
