What’s your current endeavor?

My name is Kevin Ovita Teddy. I’m a founder at Wasanii Mtaani/Artists in the Hood. This is a music, film, techie, and fashion collective based in Nairobi, Kenya.

What’s your past endeavor?

In the past, we have carried out a project known as the African Hiphop Caravan.

What’s your next endeavor?

As mentioned above, I have been organizing genrefree a festival called Made In Afrika^TM. Deeper Discourses™ is the panel segment of this festival. This will be a skill sharing zone for both theoretical and practical discourses through which information on many disciplines not limited to music, arts, fashion, tech, literature, film, and how these interrelate will be dispersed.

Where is it going down?

At the Kenya Cultural Centre in Nairobi’s Central Business District.

When is it going down?

On Thursday, November 11^th 5.00 - 6.00 P.M.

Highlight of the event?

We will invite one of the speakers from Endeavor Impact Program 2021 to give a talk. We will have artists from Poetry After Lunch as participants.

How will you use donations?

Monies raised will be used for venue hire, buying drinks, and setting up both software & hardware infrastructure for the virtual aspect of the event.
