Hand of Hope

Hello! I am starting a fund raising for my cousin, Winlove Echeveria, 22 years old. He recently passed both BFP Examination and the Licensure Exam for Criminology. However, he cannot apply yet for a job because of his hand injury.

2 years ago (October 31, 2017 to be exact), during their Pre-Internship Training, he accidentally fell off a mangrove swamp that caused a splinter in his right palm. A large foreign object was pressed deeply into his palm. He was immediately brought to the nearest medical clinic for first aid. And since it was deeply pressed, a minor surgery was done to get the foreign object out. However, after the said surgery, there were still tiny splinters coming out of his wound. Days after, his palm began to inflame. Up until now, in spite continuous medication and follow-up checkups, the wound has not yet healed and tiny splinters are still coming out of the wound.

Recent doctor's advice is that he must undergo an MRI to assess what other foreign objects are still inside his palm. And another possible surgery may happen.
