Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) fight for Eli

To everyone reading this, my brother, Bernard Eli "Nunot" Samson was rushed and admitted in a hospital in Metro Manila last August 30, 2022 upon experiencing difficulty in speaking, numbness in the face and extremities , high blood pressure, and inablity to walk independently. He has undergone series of tests and was diagnosed to have Guillain - Barré Syndrome. It is a rare condition with unknown cause. The treatment for such is costly. To prevent worsening of his condition, his attending doctors recommended a 5-day medication (Human Normal Immunoglobulin) which will cost PhP 682,500 alone.

Apart from the hospital bills and this medication, he will be facing long treatment towards his full recovery.

Nunot is a loving and supportive son, father, and brother. He has been supporting our father who was also diagnosed to have a rare auto-immune disease in his medication. Apart from this, he is supporting his two young sons who are both enrolled in basic education. When the pandemic struck, he has also been generously extending help to us, his sisters and to our mother.

While we are extremely grateful for the help extended by our relatives and friends, our funds are still not enough to cover for all the expenses that will be incurred until Nunot fully recovers.
