For most people Xmas is the perfect family holiday. But for Alexander Naumenko 25th of December was profoundly life-changing day in more ways than one.  

The photo of Alexander Naumenko with terrible injuries, a member of the pro-Ukraine Donbass Battalion, is spread in Ukrainian social networks and news sites with sarcastic comment: "This is a Russian citizen who came to protect “the Russian peace plan” in Donbass. He got what was coming to him! The same fate befell everyone else who comes to Ukraine!"

But the hard truth is that Alexander Naumenko is a Ukrainian, a native Donbass citizen. He didn't do anything or go anywhere to protect “the Russian world”. On the contrary, it is "Ukrainian peace plan» came to him in all its "splinter-explosive shells splendor". Pro-Kiev and pro-Ukrainian activists rejoice that their troops terribly wounded this Ukrainian citizen.   FRIENDS!!! HELP IS NEEDED!!!

Lubov Naumenko spends days and nights sitting alongside Alexander. How much love and support and energy this fragile girl has! She is with him at the very beginning of warfare. How much hardship they went through! They lost everything they owned in the warbut saved love and loyalty to each other and to their homeland, to Donbass.

Alexander is in a very difficult condition.

The bomb tore off both his hands but Alexander Naumenko is a true optimist !! It is a long and difficult road ahead for him. Alexander underwent the life-altering amputations. Now he is at rehabilitation center in St.-Petersburg and he will remain here for undergoing various reconstructive surgeries.  

He’s been taking pain medications regularly — but admits they’ve only been temporary solutions. Minor distractions, at best, from the seemingly endless pain. He is also waiting to be fitted for prostheses. But first and foremost is to save Alexander’s righteye. Doctors are confident one more surgery could help to restore his vision. Therefore, the material assistance and support are very important and needed for this young family. Only YOU can help Lubov and Alexander. Dear friends, do not be indifferent!
