Hi ,My name is Helena

I am a Founder of Golden Star daycare and nursery in Arusha

I begun Golden Star back in 2012 for the purpose of supporting Tanzanian's children who face lack of education due to extreme poverty

Golden Star works to help support poor families by offering all children their right to an education and the chance for a better future.

I have dedicated my life to follow my love and passion to help teach and take care of children who are in need

This year we celebrated Golden stars tenth-anniversary on 13th Sept 2022 .

The past 10 years have been incredible and very special but it hasn’t been without its constant challenges.

Rent, food, learning materials, bedding, electricity and water just to name a few but the biggest challenge we face right now is a building.

For the past 5 years we have been renting a house in Mianzini but as of the start of next year we will no longer be able to stay there.

This is where I kindly ask for your help.

In order to continue providing a safe place for these bright beautiful children to grow and learn I need your help to buy a piece of land with space to build a permanent school for them.

I hope we can all come together and keep golden star shining for at least another 10 years
