Hi, I am a 24 year old from The Netherlands who planned to have a nice internship in Cape Town. The plan was to earn money to go back with this practical part of my study. However, things went wrong. The place where I had my internship turned out to be a scam. I worked long hours, but right now I am still waiting for my wages of the past 2 months. I stopped working last month because they still didn't pay. From then on I payed my rent and living earnings from my savings. I looked for other jobs, but to be honest: I kind of lost my trust in people and just want to go home. I am really desperate and looked for ways to get funding from friends, but I am to afraid to push them and my father already has depts so I don't want to ask him. I feel so ashamed for putting this up here, but I don't know any other way. I hope people here are willing to help me.
