I’m Claire Danes Robledo, 19 years old, studying Bachelor of Science in Nursing at San Pedro College of Davao City, Philippines. I really want to be part of the World’s Changes and live my dreams to work hand in hand with my fellow change-makers to make the world a better place where there is peace and harmony among nations; building bridges where there is understanding and acceptance of our differences and help those who are in need and our dear Mother Earth.
I was accepted as one of the participants for the Global Goals Model United Nations 2019 in Thailand on October 2019 and to represent my country, Philippines, wherein it is a four days international relations simulation that gathers passionate youths across the globe to gain insight into the workings of the United Nations and the dynamics of international relations by assuming the roles of UN representatives and members of other international bodies and national cabinets. In other words, the participants would be assigned to a council and debate, give opinions and work on solutions together with other delegates to solve a particular issue under the council such Zero hunger, about Poverty, water and sanitation and the likes which I am very interested to share my insights and collaborate with my fellow youth leaders upon addressing the current situation of our World.
I am always looking forward for opportunities to play a better role as a global citizen and I embrace the spirit as a lifelong learner. It is my passion to serve others, to serve the world by doing all the best that I can through the guidance of the Almighty. For I believe that this might be my real purpose in life. I wanted to be an advocate for peace, harmony, and for the overall status and health of my fellowmen and contribute to the welfare of the society together with the other officials across the Globe.
