Please help our Ate Mercy fight brain cancer. Help us raise funds for her!

Mercy underwent brain surgery for a brain tumor last December 2019, and the doctors found out that her tumor was benign. However, after one and a half years, she underwent another brain surgery in May 2021, and this time she was diagnosed with Glioblastoma on 4th ventricle brain cancer. She has been gracefully fighting to live for her only son. Miraculously she made it the past year with bravery and some amazing results. Yet, last July, she was also diagnosed with Hydrocephalus as a complication.

Despite her surgeries and her continuous treatment, she still works as a government employee in our city so she can pay her debts and loans that arise from those treatments. As of now, she doesn’t receive any salary as all of those are paid directly for her loans. The financial impact of medical costs: treatments, medicines, and essential equipment to deal with her diminishing physical abilities, have become too much to bear even with the help from her family and friends. Chemotherapy alone cost her $2,000 a month for the bi-weekly sessions.

We are knocking on your hearts to help us to raise funds to take care of some of her needs such as full-time care, immediate medical needs, food, transport, and all the unforeseen expenses that are popping up daily.
