Hello,

We are knocking on your kind heart, our friend Raquel Mondido was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus with Ketoacidosis. Because of her diabetes her blood had acid that made her fall into a critical condition.

Supposedly she need to be in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) last December 27, 2021. However they need to produce ₱ 150,000 and because they dont have enough money she is still on the emergency room of the hospital up to now.

She is now undergoing dialysis to clear the acid in her blood. Ans still highly recommended by the doctors that she need to be in the ICU for 24/7 close monitoring however right now they need now to pay the full equivalent amount of the running bill which is ₱ 471,000 as of this today.

We and her family have also tried to reach out to various hospitals specially with the public hospitals to seek for an alternative and much affordable options. But almost all of them provided the same responses that there is no ICU room available and there is no guarantee that she will be treated properly given her current condition.

She is now admitted at the emergency room of Makati Medical Center. The reason why they decided to go there due to an emergency situation because of the unbearable pain due to a boil. But while she was checking by the doctors that was the time that she was diagnosed with the Acute Diabetic Mellitus. They try to transfer her to a public hospital however they were advised that they need to pay the full amount of the hospital bill which is the ₱471,000. But the money that they currently have is still not enough to cover the bill.

And because her hospital bill is getting bigger that is the reason we are asking for help for medical expenses. Any amount will be a big help for Raquel.
