Team of Art Malawi

A Team of Art Malawi is a group of Theatre makers who would want to make their first tour around the World. We are here to develop and expose Talent of young people as well as collaborate with other Theatre makers in the World. Art is Universal. We believe that through Theatre we will bring issues that affects all of us in different ways.

Malawi is a an art loving country. The country has many different cultures with different backgrounds in terms of believes and where these tribes came from. This shows that Malawi is rich many different Arts works from these tribes. These works have not had a chance to be exposed. The TEAM is there to take the art of Malawi around the World. Team is composed of 4 people with different backgrounds. The play MY TIME IS ……… YATHA (Yatha means Over) is a play that will bring issue that affect many marriage and these are not discussed. The play has been invited to tour around Europe and Africa. Mainly we will take the play in small Theatre Halls around the UK, Africa and Norway. have different problems that we face but we have similarities in the way we suffers in terms of relationships. There is a common question that we ask. Sometimes couples suffer silently in issues that would be solved when they are addressed.

The Support could be in form of Tickets or funds for accommodation and local travel around Malawi.
