Get Romania to European Kendo Championship!

Hello,

I am Alin, and along with my 3 colleagues (Sorin, who is my twin brother, Valentin and Codrin), we were selected to represent Romania for this year to international Kendo competitions, as Romanian national team members.

Kendo is Japanese representative martial art. The fighters have complex equipment, like a Japanese warrior and a weapon made from bamboo.

We practice this sport for 15 years and we dream to compete to the top level! We have some important national and international results, like national champion title in the last 3 years in a row, Balkan Silver for two years in a row and, the most important, European Silver!

This year we plan to compete in two major competitions:

1. Balkan Kendo Cup

The problem is that we are still students and it's not easy to pay the entire taxes. Our parents help us, but it is not easy. We need money to pay our transport, accommodation, competition fees and some expensive equipment. We want to represent our country and, also, to promote this martial art.

We are not interested in money rewards, but all we want is to practice this sport and participate in big competitions without paying any taxes. We were unlucky to practice a sport that is not in the olympic games or so popular as football, but we like Kendo too much!

Any funding would be a really big help for us and will also motivate us to train hard and do our best to win!
