Campaign Story
I was outdoors when I saw a kitten whose eye was shut closed. "She looks blind, she needs vet care," I thought to myself.
I asked the caretaker of the place to help me find a box so that I can bring the kitten home and take it to the vet to get its eye checked. After a few minutes, the caretaker handed me a rat trap with FOUR kittens inside it. I couldn't say no, I suddenly felt responsible for them.
If I declined him, the four kittens would be left alone outdoors without anyone taking care of them. I was also told that their mom died.
So I brought them home with me. When I got home, I realized all THREE kittens' eyes were damaged -- either shut closed, or eyeball bludgeoned to the side most probably due to trauma.
I took them to the vet the very next day. The vet gave them what she said was the usual medication for stray kittens' eyes that are shut closed (Tobramycin). But after 4-5 days into the medication, we noticed that the eye of the two kittens' eyes have worsened. I booked an appointment ASAP to a different vet and was told that it might be viral and worst case scenario, if the antibiotics prescribed by the new vet didn't work, both of the kittens would need eye surgery.
The word "surgery" already entails that it would be expensive. I cannot shoulder the expenses of the 4 kittens by myself especially if it meant needing surgery on top of vet consults, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter when ready. I would need help covering the expenses of the two poor kittens. Your help will be very much appreciated.

Kitten with the worst case of eye problem has passed right after her surgery
Update posted by Rai M at 08:20 pmWe took the two kittens with bad eye to the vet today (Egbert and Rainbow) as an emergency case because their eye seemed to have worsened. We took two in, and left with just one. It was a very heartbreaking moment for me. As soon as the vet saw them,. . . . .
