I am trying to make an electric bicycle for my final year college project. I already have a cycle and need to convert it into an e bike. For converting my bicyce to electric, I would need some components. Firstly a good BLDC motor which is required mostly in every e bike to move its rear or front wheel, a speed controller which helps us to control the speed of my bike, throttle by which you can accelerate your bicycle, a rechargeable high capacity battery, its charger, and some more fancy items such as displays, gauges, brake levers, speedometer etc. which are recommended.

Anyway the price of all these components are much more than the bicycle itself, I will try to make my e bike under 250 dollars only. For that I have to do some research about the type of motors and conversion kits available in the market.Still I am confident that I can make my ebike under 250 dollars. I will be buying the 36V rated bldc motor along with the kit, which comes mid range in the term of cost. for e bikes. The battery will depend on the funds I receive. Money saved from this fund will be sent to animal sheters or NGOs.

PS- All the pictures you see are pictures of e bikes I have taken from google. Wanted to show how I want my e bike to look like. Anyway I will upload the picture of my bicycle soon. :P
