Nov 8, 2013, category 5 super typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan first hit my hometown, Tacloban before it hit the rest of central Philippines. Everything was wiped out--houses, harvest, properties--in just a matter of hours. They now have nothing but the little food and water they have left from days before the calamity, clothes in their backs, and hopes that one day they'll see this once serene little city by the sea rebuilt.
There are currently 10 first-degree families in our Tacloban clan we are splitting the funds to. The funds will be used to buy their necessities as they start restoration in their lives.
Here is the list of families I'm raising funds for: Martinez (5), Anderson-Rañola (6), Rañola (3), Rañola-Tan (3), Almaden (8), Total: 25
From the bottom of our hearts, salamat hin madamo ha iyo na tanan!
