Hello everyone. As you know, education is really important for people as it increases knowledge which we need for a better future. School teachers are paid handsomely to do their jobs but unfortunately this does not apply to Islamic teachers especially where I come from (Coast, Kenya). A number of Islamic teachers are struggling to look after their families, they can't afford medical supplies, stay in really unhealthy environments just to survive. Why so? They are paid even less than what a house helper gets and sometimes don't get a single dime. They teach religion to young students. We all have our religions which we follow and I know that every parent wants their child to know more about the religion they follow. I am a muslim and we as muslims go to Madrasah and taught more about our religion just like I went through my primary, secondary and tertiary education.

Despite the low or no payment, the islamic teachers still do their jobs as we believe more rewards will come in the hereafter. My plea is for anyone from any religion who can donate and help out the Islamic teachers get a descent payment for their work just like normal teachers, kindly donate any amount and move on as a group. Whatever amount will be appreciated and I personally thank you in advance. As a group, we can do wonders. God bless you all

PS: I don't have any photos of the exact places/neighborhoods where the teachers live but if requested, I'll make an effort and take some.
