Campaign Story
Mouthcap Campaign is a social campaign that aims to prevent the spread of Coronavirus and to protect everyone: our families, neighbors and people around us with a Mouthcap. Three thousand mouthcaps are expected to be distributed to people in Bengkulu Province, Sumatra Indonesia.
Bengkulu is coastal province, around 19.000 km square that lies on the southwest coast of Sumatra island, Indonesia, inhabited by around 1.9 million people. It is likely to be well organized, calm, routine-like lifesyle province where most people work as government employees, teachers, farmers, food sellers and fishermen near coastal areas. Life is laid back, harmonious, calm and far from the hustle and bustle.
Due to the outbreak of COVID 19, the fear to get infected is high. Play groups, schools, universities are closed until uncertain time. People are highly recommended to stay at home and to look after each other. Around 44 people are suspected to get infected and now are under check-up process and quarantine. 2 people died, yet the result remains unknown either they were positive or negative Covid -19 and the cause is still under investigation.
Everyone stays on alert.
