Hello everyone! I am Marian Christine Luy knocking on your hearts for Mr. Margarito Aton, one of the security guards at our work place.
Mr. Margarito Aton is hardworking and cheerful. Personally, I did not notice that he is going through a hard time because he always greets everyone with a sincere smile and loves to joke around. Until one day, one of my co-workers asked him how his son is doing.
Apparently, Jhunmhar Aton, his 21 year old son was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia last 2018. I know that this might sound like just another typical cancer story but we are in dire need of your help. Jhunmhar had already undergone series of chemotherapy and blood transfusion. Unfortunately, his illness relapsed during his follow-up monitoring last December 2018.
Due to the medications, constant blood transfusions, and other expenses, Sir Aton is struggling to make ends meet to the point that every time Jhunmhar finishes his treatment, they end up going home because they cannot afford the hospital admission.
We are all aware of how expensive medical treatments are for this disease so we are humbly asking for your help in raising Php 100,000 for Sir Aton and his son. I was truly touched by Sir Aton's positive outlook in life despite the struggles he is facing. As a daughter of a single dad, I can only imagine how painful this might be for him. How hard must it be to see your beloved son struggling to live?
I have been through my own financial struggles while I was studying. Thankfully, there were people around me who supported and helped me become who I am today. Now, it’s time to pay it forward.
We would appreciate all the help we can get in raising this amount for Sir Aton. All the donations will be given to Sir Aton for the medical expenses of Jhunmhar. May we also ask for your prayers for Jhunmar’s recovery so that he can live the life he deserves.
