Help Raise Funds for Pelma’s Hospital Bills and Treatments

One of my grandmother’s sisters, Pelma Dion Garcia, was admitted to CLDH, Tarlac City last January 23. She is 59 years old, single, and unemployed. She lives with one of her nephews and nieces. Their only sources of income are the job of his nephew and their small variety store, which are not enough to sustain all of their needs (foods, medications, bills). We, her relatives, help them out financially whenever we can.

During her 24-hour stay in the hospital, different diagnostic tests, such as CT Scan and X-Ray, were performed to rule out her condition. On January 25, she was diagnosed with sigmoid colon obstruction (advanced stage colon cancer) and was immediately brought to the OR. She underwent a surgery to remove the tumors, but unfortunately, there was nothing else her doctors can do. Instead, a colostomy was performed for her to be able to defecate. The latter operation was successful but she tested positive for COVID-19 post-op.
