Fundraiser for My Master’s Degree Studies at IÉSEG School of Management in Lille, France

Bonjour! My name is Tavia Chai Ling Lee and I am 22 years old from Malaysia. I graduated from the Northen University in Malaysia and affiliated Keris College. I have sucessfully achieved double Degree in Tourism Managament and Business Administration. At the same time, I have my internship in an international hotel in the Accounting and Reception department for 6 months.

I have been accepted to the Master of Science in International Business program of IÉSEG School of Management in Lille, France. The reason I choose IÉSEG School of Management is one of the top Business Schools in France, ranked 6th in France and 17th overall in the Financial Times Masters in Management 2016 ranking. This is a great milestone for me to pursuit my future career. As I have always dreamed of taking graduate studies in France due to the high standard of education and the beautiful culture. My career goal after finishing this Master's program is to participate in an innovative company and help spreading the privileges in the field of business internationally.

Sadly to say, I am having difficulty in financial issues securing funds to pay for my tuition fees. The total tuition fees for the whole program is 20,000 Euros including club fees, book fees and exam fees. I already secured my place and paid the 3000 Euros deposit from my personal saving account. Besides, I am also financially preparing for my airfare, accommodation costs, and living expenses. I keep on working and help my ages parents to take care of my three younger sisters and also saving up money from what I am currently earning and I am doing my best to find other ways to pay for my schooling on my own. I am currently applying for education loans and finding a part time job during the course of my studies. I did try to get a scholarship from France Embassy in Malaysia but unfortunately I was not among those who were selected.

As much as I wanted to take all the monetary responsibility for my masteral studies, I will be needing extra help to pay for the first installment of my tuition fees which is due by September 2019. The amount to be paid for the first installment is 7500 Euros. I am not expecting that this campaign will be fully funded but any amount donated will be very much appreciated.
