Funding for my Aunt’s Operation for Ovarian Cyst

Hi Everyone,

I have setup this campaign to help my aunt, Eunice "Joy" Casais, on the cost of her operation on an enlarged uterus as there is a cyst discovered in it which is already 26 cm in size. To compare the size, the cyst is already larger than a newborn's head.

We started to notice her tummy growing a few months ago as my grandparents always asks her if she was pregnant. To make sure that it was not the case, I ask her and my sister to go to an OB-Gyne yesterday where it was found out that it was a cyst (and not a baby) that is growing inside her.

Before that, my cousin (her only daughter), mentioned that she always vomits and lies on their bed as she seems to be weak to move. Also, her weight is obviously deteriorating as her tummy grows. She does not tell us that it is hurting hence, she always tells us that she is just full after eating.

My aunt, who is 50 years of age, is a single mom and is unemployed. She relies her income on her small sari-sari store (convenience store) to fund her child's need. She is currently residing with my grandparents who are now retired. Me and my siblings are also giving her monthly allowance as she was the one who took care of us up until we reach high school. Her only child, my cousin, is an achiever in school and is always on the Top 5 of their class which we are very proud of. She is currently on Section 2 of Commonwealth ES.

Her OB-Gyne suggests to have the cyst removed as soon as possible since it is already big and also to examine if it is benign or malignant (hopefully not). My grandparents and my uncle, decided to bring her to East Ave Medical Center on Thursday (Dec 20) as they will seek for second opinion today (Dec 19) but definitely, they will still go to EAMC for assessment and operation.

We are asking for your help since all of the government offices (such as PCSO and DSWD) will be on their Holiday break this week and the following week which will be hard for us (and a lot of people) to ask for financial assistance for her upcoming operation.

The image associated on this campaign will be updated (since it was only captured from my sister's phone) once I receive it from my sister who is living near my grandparent's house. All of the money from this campaign will be given to my aunt to make sure that she will not worry about her operation cost.

I will make sure to update everyone once the operation started and please, include her on your prayers and hopefully, the cyst is benign.
