Funding for Master’s Degree

My name is Juan Fernando Rangel Ramírez, I am a recently graduated Engineer from Mexico.

I was recently accepted by the University of Bristol in England to study a Master of Science in Computer Science . Also, I recently received the news that CONACyT (a Mexican Government Department) is going to support my studies with a scholarship abroad, which includes full support of my living expenses and a support that partially covers my tuition expenses. The amount I need to cover of tuition cost is £ 4,000, plus the cost of my transportation to England, which is $650 USD and the cost of the visa, which is $ 500 USD, giving a total of £4,900 ($6,500 USD).

Unfortunately I do not have all of the resources to cover the total amount. That's why I'm looking for support, hoping to find the help I need to complete the amount I need to pursue my master's degree.

I am a responsible and organized person, committed to the program I am studying, having obtained a GPA of 90 out of 100 and being top in my cohort, with a perfectly clean course history. Also, I am highly competent in teamwork and leadership, having been treasurer of the mechanical engineering chapter at my university. In the mechanical engineering chapter, we organized the first Mechanical Engineering Congress of our university, bringing several international and local speakers. We also organized several extracurricular activities for students of the mechanical engineering department, such as courses, lectures and charity activities. I was selected to participate in an undergraduate research internship in 2015 at the University of North Texas, in which I conducted research under the supervision of a professor during an 8-week program. It was an amazing experience in which I had the opportunity to work with people from all over the world and acquire skills in research, analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork. In 2016 I obtained the Jovenes de Excelencia Banamex Scholarship, awarded to college students that demonstrated leadership and an excellent academic performance and who want to study a master’s degree in a foreign country, this scholarship consists of support to pay for my admission exams and the cost of the application fees.

My studies start in late September, so I need to cover my expenses by mid-September. I will be really grateful for your support as it has been by long life dream to study my master's degree at a world-recognized university in a foreing country. Any amount will help me in my pursuit to study my master's degree.
