Campaign Story
We are 4th year students taking up Bachelor of Arts in Communication at Adamson University.
Out of 3700 entries from 104 different countries, our undergraduate thesis titled "What's Happening?: The Effectiveness of Twitter as a News Disseminating Platform During The Super Typhoon Ompong in Baguio City" has been chosen by the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) to be presented in their annual conference in Madrid, Spain this July 2019.
Being just students who have no financial capabilities to afford the travel expenses, we are appealing to generous donors to help fund our trip; you're also funding our future as it will be a great honor to represent our country, Philippines, in these types of conferences.
